Acoustical Engineer
Primary responsibilities would be to provide acoustical support to the Engineering Department for all aspects of Klipsch's personal product development.
Essential duties of this position include:
- The design, testing and assembly of loudspeakers for personal products.
- Develop and produce schematic entries and layout.
- Documentation and certification of design.
- Evaluate and select components for product line.
- Evaluate process; communicate with internal and external contacts for technical and engineering product solutions.
Requirements:
- Hands on experience in design, assembly and sub-assembly evaluation, emulation software selection and use, and extensive knowledge/understanding of music/acoustics/sound amplification.
- High degree of understanding In-Ear Acoustics.
- Design experience with ergonomic "Human" Factors for comfort and fit of headphones.
- BS Engineering or Physics with 5 years related experience
